Some surprises here, even for somebody like me who reads you enough not to be *that* often surprised. That said, a list like this says even more than a 10/10 list would, I think.

Steven Rubio

Keep in mind that I start with 6/10 and move up or down depending how I like/dislike. I average around 7 because I try to avoid movies I don't think I'd like.

Criticker, another interesting AI recommendation site, places your ratings in what they call Tiers, as a way of normalizing your ratings compared to someone else. If one person is a grade inflator who gives between 90-100 for every movie, Criticker will place their 100s in Tier 10 and their 90s in Tier 1. A 50/100 rating from me ends up in Tier 1, which is the bottom tier, covering everything from the list above down to, yes, Julien Donkey-Boy, to which I assigned a 9/100 just so it would be one notch below the other 1/10s. Point being, although I don't really think of them this way, the movies in the above list are well below average to me, compared to other movies I've rated.

How do you feel about Italian flicks? If you got room on your list, and can find it, I request "Fiorile"

Steven Rubio

There is always room for more requests! I had an Italian movie at #17 on my Fave 50 list. Will try to hunt it down.
