soprano's f-word count

Steve Hammond chimes in with the latest:

It was the second lowest total of all-time. The word was not uttered until just over 21 minutes into the show when Junior said it (we can always count on Uncle Junior!). The lowest was Season 3 - Episode 27 - "Mr. Ruggerio's neighborhood, " when the count was 13. It is only the third time that the count was under the 20 mark.

The episode did include a couple of firsts - Tony getting slapped by a Buddhist and a featured role by a gaping abdominal wound!

Now down to the exacting details:

The Sopranos - Episode 67 - "Join the Club"

Said the F-word 17 times

Total for the season 56
Average per episode 28

Total for all episodes - 3521
Average per episode - 52.55 - this is the first time the average has been below 53 since the second season

(note: I re-did my spreadsheet last week and found a mistake in season 4, causing a slight change in overall totals)

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Most ever in a single episode - 105 - Episode #19 "The Happy Wanderer "
Least ever in a single episode - 13 - Episode #27 "Mr. Ruggerio's Neighborhood"

Julie

I wasn't too impressed with the last episode. It certainly had it's moments, but overall I thought it was boring and the sappy one on one talks with Tony weren't very convincing. They did redeem themselves though when you see his son talking and you think it's going to be yet another boring sappy talk and it turns out he's talking about cars.
